Week in Italy ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The whole week in Italy was awesome and I had so much fun! My ultimate favourite thing in Italy was the sunny weather and ice cream!😍

 I loved every single day we had in Italy and I really can't wait to wisit Italy again. ...And I can't wait to see my Italian girl Silvia again❤️

I don't have much to say so I'll fill this post with pictures❤️

The flight from Italy to Finland was bittersweet. 

I was sad, because I knew that I would not see my Italian friends on the next day, but at the same time it was nice to go back home.

I'm so thankful from this project and for  all the people I have had apportunity to meet. With out you guys, this project would probaply not succeed as well as it did.

Don't dream your life live your dream

Colorful houses on the beach. Warm and sunny day. I can feel the sun's rays on the skin. Ice cream tastes delicious. It melts in my mouth. I'm laying on the sand and write a diary. I hear talking and laughing around me. Everyone seems to be having fun. Everything is perfect. No panic, no stress, no worries. I really wish that time would stop. Because now I live my dream.

in Italy

We spent the best week of school in Italy. People, who visited in Finland a month ago, welcomed us and we lived their daily lives in Italy. We enjoyed the warm weather and ate the best ice cream in the world, we loved the landscapes. We didn't mind even the trains were on strike and even it took many hours to wait our bus. All in all, the whole trip was very wonderful.

The city where we lived didn't look real city. It was strange to realize that some people actually live there. La Spezia is located by the sea.
 We were trekking on the Cinque Terre.

And we were in Palmaria, on the beautiful island near La Spezia. We visited also in Portovenere.
We visited in Pisa one day. And like every tourists in Pisa, we took many pictures with leaning tower there.

I want to thank you all for this trip. This group is awesome ♥

Week in Italy!

This was exciting travel for me for many reasons. First of all, I had never been in an airplane! It turned out to be a lot of fun. Secondly, I had never even seen a palm tree, so I was very happy seeing those. For my opinion, we had the best group in this project. I got many new friends through it. I would definitely come to this project again! I want to thank Gaia about everything, you were an amazing host and your family was very welcoming. I miss you already, but I think we will see in the future again :)

I fell in love with all the animals there! 

 

I really had the best company during the trip, I couldn't ask for better. 

  

The buildings in Italy are so beautiful, full of colours. The mountains in the background look so amazing. And we all know that in Finland the water isn't that clear.

We saw The Leaning Tower of Pisa in a very sunny day. Pisa was full of tourists taking pictures of the tower. Of course they were like "trying to hold the tower" :D It looked funny!

So delicious frozen yogurt! 

We went to see this castle in the evening with Gaia's family. 

Week in Italy

The week in Italy was amazing. I think it’s a good word to sum up all of my thoughts. The nature was so much different than in Finland – and the landscapes were unbelievable. Big mountains, colorful houses by the seaside, clear water, beautiful architecture, and the list goes on. 

In Italy we went trekking in the Cinque Terre, which was a whole new experience for me. We visited five villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. I didin’t see Corniglia myself, because I lost my step in the stairs leading down from a mountain – and I twisted my ankle. Luckily the pain was gone in two days. I was so exhausted after the trekking, but I’m satisfied that I survived from that trip.

We danced so much in one evening when we were at Giulia’s house, and it was really entertaining. We also did some shopping and ate so much delicious Italian ice cream and (of course), pizza and pasta. We also visited Pisa and Firenze.

 In Italy the funny people and the beautiful sights were things that will stick in my mind. I hope that I can see my host Laura again in the future. Thanks to her I really enjoyed the visit and had lots of fun.
