I'm Saima, an almost 17-year-old girl from Mäntsälä. I spend my free time with my friends and family. I'm a student in Järvenpää high school at art line. I have been interested  in visual arts and I love photography.

Saima Halonen

My name is Ada Kairavuori, and I’m 17-year-old girl from Järvenpää, Finland. Art has been my hobby almost always. My mother is an art teacher in Aalto University, so she taught me how to draw immediately when I learnt to hold a pencil in my hand. Art, and especially drawing, have been my passion through my whole life. I use my creativity on daily basis: I learn difficult subjects better at school when I try to make the problem into a picture, but drawing and making art is also a way to relax or deal with different kind of feelings. Even though I really enjoy drawing, I don’t think it’s going to be part of my future career: I don’t want to take a risk of becoming bored at creating art, I love it just too much.

Ada Kairavuori

My name is Krista Karppinen.

I am 16 years old girl. I like to paint, especially with aquarelle. I live in rural area in a small village. I have two sisters and two brothers so there is lots of life in my home. I go to aqua jogging every Friday after school. I listen to Korean music and watch Korean drama on internet. I have a cat. It likes to sleep on my bed.

I like to draw intuitively. My pictures describe mostly nature or human beings. I like to make harmonious and colorful drawings. Painting is very relaxing and a good balance to the school work. I get inspiration from my imagination.

I have dreamed about travelling. In the summer time I spend time in summer cottage. It’s in the middle of Finland about 500 kilometers from my home.

I like to read a lot of books like twilight saaga. I am very sensitive. I don’t like action movies or any kind of violence. Instead I enjoy watching romantic or drama movies.

I’m looking forward seeing all you Italian project fellows.

My name is Mira and I'm 16.

I have loved painting and drawing since I was a little kid.

I'm not good at math or chemistry or anything like that. I'm way better doing things with my hands than with my brains.

I have a sister and two brothers. I like animals. I have a dog called Uno. He is probably the cutest dog in the world. My favourite subjects in school are english, visual arts and russian.

I think that I'm a nice, friendly, I'm a little bit shy at first but when you get to now me... Anyway, I'm interested in fashion and I like nature. I used to be a scout girl and I really liked all the camps we had. It's amazing to sleep under the clear blue sky (but not when it rained) and spend all night watching the stars high above us.

Watercolours and coloured pencils are my favourite tools. Usually I like to draw/paint from model or from photograph, and I like using lots of colours. I like to draw my idosl like Lana Del Rey. I have drawed her like a million times.

Me and my dear friend Hanna are into photographing. We like to dress up fancy and go outside to take some pictures. Sadly we can't do it very often because she lives in Helsinki and I live in Jarvenpaa and it's hard to find time for us to meet and do our things. School takes most of our time now.

But she knows that I have life in Jarvenpaa and I know she has a life in Helsinki. And it's fine, because I know that we are going to stay friends even though we won't see eachothers that often and we live in different cities.

I'm a sixteen-year-old girl from Kellokoski. I love animals, reading, travelling abroad and writing books. To me drawing is a way to wind down. I'm also interested in arts. Mostly I like to draw black-and-white characters with a pencil, but I love to use colors too. To me the best part of Finland is my family's summer cottage in Rovaniemi.

Hi!

I'm a 17-year-old (soon 18) girl from Finland. I love good movies, animals and videogames. I'm humoristic, outgoing and emphatic.

I have been drawing since I was a little kid. My drawing style is something between realistic and non-realistic. I enjoy drawing different kind of animals (mostly dogs), but I can draw humans too. I'm very self-critical when It comes to art, but I still keep practising, even if I'm not satisfied with most of my works. I draw mostly digitally (with computer), but I love doing art traditionally too, like sculpting and painting.

"I'm Anni Lehtimäki, a 16 year-old girl from Finland. I'm a second year student in Järvenpään lukio. I like dancing (lessons 6 times per week), arts, animals and good food! There are six members in my family: me, mum, dad, little sister and two dogs. My favourite subjects in school are art, psychology and history.

I've been in art school six years but I've drawn and painted since I was able to hold pencil or brush. I'm not sure, which of all the techniques is my favourite, but I like to draw humans with penclis but I landscapes are most fun to paint with oils or acryls.

I'm a sociable person, who likes to meet new people!"

My name is Suvi Liedes and I´m 17 year old girl from Finland, Järvenpää. I study the second year in Järvenpääs upper secondary school and I´m on art class. On my free time I like to hang out with my friends, listen to music, draw and go shopping. I also like watching movies, going to music concerts and taking care of our two dogs.

Art has always been close to my heart and I started drawing when I was a little kid. I have been on art class since upper comprehensive school and I love it! I have also been in this kind of “art school as a hobby” on my free time but I quit it like a year ago, because I didn’t have enough spare time. Art and drawing is part of my everyday life and school life. I have drawn and designed two tattoos for my mother and both of them succeeded. Now I´m thinking what kind of tattoo I want to myself.

 Hey! My name is Emilia. I am a 17 year-old girl from Finland. I study in the second year in Järvenpää upper secondary school.

I have been drawing since I can remember art has always interested me. Drawing is the important way to express myself and my feelings.

Usually I create the frames for my thoughs with drawing and music. At the moment, I am particularly interested in the drawing tattoos and I have a dream to design a tattoo for myself someday.

Other things I like are dancing, sport, comedies, travelling and music. I like to spend my spare time with my friends, relaxing or shopping.

Hey! My name is Mirjami. Friends call me Mirkku. I'm sixteen years old girl and I live in Järvenpää with my mom, dad, sister and our dog Sofi. I don't play in any team, but during my free-time I love to play basketball. I have studied Finnish, Swedish, English, French and Spanish. And now would be nice to know a bit Italian. I'm also intrested about the culture and art in Italy. I don't know much things about art, but I think this is a good chance for it. Who wouldn't like drawing?

My name is Inka, I’m 16 years old. I started in Järvenpää upper secondary school’s art line this autumn.

Drawing and painting have been my hobbies since I could hold a pencil in my hand. I went into an art school for one year, but other than that I’m pretty much self-taught with art.

Other things I love are reading, animals, gaming and watching movies. I’ve also started street dancing lately. Along with art my favourite subjects in school are foreign languages and history.

Hi! I'm sixteen years old and Iive in Kellokoski. I have always liked drawing and art has always interested me. Maybe biggest thing what's happened to me with art was when a year ago I and my friends painted about three meters high trees on primary school walls. That was a lot of fun! I like most copying original pictures, mostly comics.

Hi! My name is Anni. I`m a 17-year-old girl from Järvenpää.
I love music, dancing, archery, gymnastics, reading and lots of other things. I play the piano and the guitar and I sing. My favourite subjects in school are art, music, chemistry, biology and religion. I don`t like history or Swedish.
There are five members in my family: me, mom, dad, and two little sisters.
I spend my free time with my friends, relaxing , playing music, reading or something else I enjoy doing.
I`ve been drawing and painting since I was little. I don`t have any favourite technique, but I like to paint with oils and make something abstract. Also photographing has always been one of my favourite things. Painting and photographing are good ways for me to relax and forget all the stress.

My name is Petra Uimonen. I’m a 19 years old girl from Järvenpää, who likes to read, draw and paint. I’m one of those kind of quiet and artistic people. But hey, quiet people have the loudest minds. I love everything humorous and my motto is “There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.” I also think that it’s important to just be yourself.

     Now that I've thrown my life philosophies at you, I’ll also have you known that I’m a huge fangirl and I love series like Star Trek, Sherlock BBC and Hannibal. My favorite music genres are folk and indie pop. I love salads, fruit and berries and I don’t drink water. I’m a good listener and I like to look at silly thing on the internet.

    We have 4 people and 4 dogs living in our household. There is my mom, her husband, my 18 years old little brother and me. The size of our dogs varies a lot. There is a Miniature Poodle, a Silk Terrier, a Peruvian Hairless dog and a Cane Corso. Even though Cane Corsos, Italian Mastiffs, are big (50 kg) our Rokki is just the sweetest guy ever, so no need to be scared.
