So, the week was really amazing, thank you! It was so nice to make some "international friends".
And all the things we did were really fun and I got plenty of new experiences. I hope everybody had good time here. :) I can't wait travelling to Italy and seeing everybody again!
(sorry I don't have any pics at the moment! ): )

I can't change my thoughts into sentences!
I had been really busy before the begin of Italy project and that's why I didn't have to time to worry. The week went so quickly and I got a lot of new friends. I'm happy that I'll see them again and I hope that we'll have also good time in Italy! It was great to teach them finnish culture ways for example ice-skating! I can't imagine my feelings about that week. Now my head is full of anything else, like packing. The week in Finland was perfect and I got many unforgettable memories. I can't wait our Italy visit! I going to see those happy faces again!
See you soon!

Italians in Finland: the video!
When our lovely guests were here, I recorded the whole week on my camera.
I had almost 2 hours of material, but I needed to cut that to about ten minutes. It was hard.
How is it possible to pack a week of awesomeness into ten minutes?
Well. Check how I succeeded to do it.
(For some reason this blogger-thing doesn't let me include a video window to this post so, here, have a link...)
I hope you enjoy!

Travelling in snowless Finland
Week 9, when our Italian guests were here, was amazing. I was just so frustrated because of the lack of snow. I mean come on, when is there not snow here in February? Apparently when I wanted to show off our country. My sadness was luckily washed away when I realized how much cooler ice is. My guest, another Finnish/Italian pair and I "skated" (walked) on Tuusulanjärvi, and the lakes in Nuuksio were also great for sliding. Well, lakes and the pathways. I had so much fun just travelling there! Natural ice slides are awesome. They of course didn't get as much appreciation form everyone else, but I think many Italians were also enthusiastic about ice.
Icy path
It's probably quite obvious that I liked the trip to Nuuksio the best, but we also had great time in Helsinki and I was really fond of our trip to Saima's home. It was nice to show our guests some really Finnish things, like sauna and kota. We sang a lot (Italians put our singing abilities to shame) and ate sausages and chips. It was also a nice way to spend my 20th birthday.
It was an intense week for a quiet and rather maverick Finnish girl like me and at the beginning I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but I grew really fond of our Italian guests in the end. I'm excited about meeting them again in a few days!

Italians in Finland
Especially Nuuksio, which was maybe a little bit too extreme for Italians - but luckily nobody didn't get hurt badly! It was funny to watch how people were afraid of the icy paths. In the end of the hiking path there was an icy hill which most Finns and Italians slid down, and it was for sure a new experience to our guests!
On Thursday me and my Italian pair Laura went to Vinttirock. Vinttirock was a gig, which lasted almost two hours. There was three bands and three music genres: Indie, metal and Finnish punk. I was surprised that Laura liked the bands we saw there (not very common ones and all Finnish). She also got an CD from my friend's band! It was a really nice evening - we danced and laughed.
On Friday I invited over a couple of my Finnish friends to say hi to Laura. My big brother was also there. We had really good time together and listened music. My eight friends were asking all kinds of questions from Laura, but in the beginning they were little bit shy.
On Saturday we went to Helsinki with our Italian guests. They visited couple of Finnish museums like Kiasma and Ateneum. We went also to a Finnish-Italian restaurant, where they made good pizza! I believe that in Italy they make pizza even better, but I can't complain about those pizzas which we ate in Vapiano.
I had really fun time with our social and happy Italian friends, who had some good jokes to tell :D The week was interesting and I met some really awesome people during this part of the project! I look forward to our visit to Italy. I think we will have some great experiences in there! I also want to thank my own Italian pair Laura, who was really nice and cool person. See you soon! ♥

We had so fun week with our italian friends! Our first trip was in
Nuuksio and there was really beautiful and even a little bit snow. Well
the roads were frozen, but we survived and had fun!

At Thursday evening we went to a Saimas home and grilled some sausages and marshmallows etc. and talked and singed finnish and italian songs.

At Saturday we spend the whole day at Helsinki. We visited in three museums, went shopping and ice skating. And there was really interesting musician who played glassbottles :)

I can't wait our trip to Italy!
